Specializations
Kathy has several
areas of
specialization as a
woman's
career coach and
work-life exert,
author, and speaker:
Achieving Work-Life
Breakthrough
Kathy has conducted
a yearlong national
research study with
over one hundred
professional women
nationwide on
Women Overcoming
Professional Crisis:
Finding New Meaning
in Life and Work,
co-sponsored by The
Esteemed Woman
Foundation.
Through her research
and work as a
women’s career coach
with hundreds of
women in the past
seven years, she has
developed a deep
understanding of the
12 “hidden” crises
professional women
face today, and how
to break through.
These crises can
strike mid-life
women with great
force. Kathy has
extensively studied
and explored the
traits,
characteristics, and
societal trends that
contribute to these
crises, and
developed an
effective model to
understand and
address them. She
works with her
clients to uncover
the significant
personal meaning
beneath the crisis,
and to help them
break through with
greater power,
purpose, and
fulfillment. As a
former corporate
Vice President, she
has lived through
these 12 crises
herself, and
successfully
reinvented her life
and work. She truly
“wrote the book” on
breaking through to
living and working
in with passion,
power, and purpose.
The 12 common
crises Kathy helps
you overcome:

About Caprino’s
Empathic Parenting
Workshop:
“Most impressive.
Patent it, publish
it, share it with
prospective parents
as well as
new/current ones.
Truly a
comprehensive and
meaningful workshop.
I wish my kids could
attend personally.
In lieu of that I am
sending it to them.
I wish it had been
available when I was
struggling as a
parent. At the very
least your workshop
will heighten the
awareness of parents
to the incredible
responsibility of
being a parent. That
how a child is
raised has such far-
reaching
ramifications for
the rest of his/her
life let alone the
dynamic of the
family while they
are at home. It’s
truly a great
service to both
parents and
children.”

About Caprino’s
One-on-One Coaching
Services:
“Kathy's intuitive
nature gives her an
amazing ability to
get to the heart of
any issue. She is
passionate about
helping others and
it is evident in her
unique approach to
coaching. I have
watched myself
transform over the
last several months
working one-on-one
with Kathy and know
that I could not be
doing what I am
doing today without
her continual
guidance, wisdom and
support. I am
grateful for what
she has helped me to
achieve and look
forward to what is
to come.”
– T. R. Fairfield,
CT
Kathy has this great
ability to
immediately put you
at ease. The sense
of trust that I felt
allowed me to fully
participate in our
work together
without hesitation -
in her presence you
are in a safe place.
She is empathetic,
yet able to cut
right through to the
heart of the problem
to the things that
were right in front
of me but couldn't
see myself. She is
encouraging,
sincere, supportive,
as well as practical
- all of which
helped me untangle
the options and
choices I was
facing."
– G.M. Elmsford, NY
"Kathy sets the
stage for you to
expand your world
and meet your
dreams."
– P.A., Brewster, NY
“I first began my
work with Kathy a
month ago; prior to
that, I would not
have thought it
possible to guide
someone so
positively in such a
short amount of
time. Kathy has
helped me become
more self-aware and
has guided me toward
mending my
inter-personal
relationships. She
knows how to direct
an individual toward
finding his or her
own answers which I
have not found
possible up until
now. Kathy's
sensitivity and
insight are just two
of the
characteristics that
make her truly
gifted in her
field."
– S.I., Norwalk, CT
“Working with Kathy,
I was able to see my
long-standing issues
in new ways that
allowed me to move
forward and
make changes in both
thought and action."
