In 2003,
Founder
Kathy Caprino first
established Coaching
for Positive Change,
which was expanded
and officially
renamed Ellia
Communications, Inc.
in 2006. Kathy’s
vision for Ellia
Communications is to
serve as an reliable
source of superior
coaching products,
services, and
resources that help
individuals and
groups break through
to lasting positive
change and
empowerment. Ellia

to continue to grow
its offerings of
beneficial services

What is the
philosophy behind
Ellia
Communications?
Ellia
Communications is
founded on one key
desire – “to be part
of the solution.”
In
our professional and
personal lives
today, there are so
many challenges and
obstacles to contend
with that many
people feel
overwhelmed and
confused as to the
“right” direction to
pursue for
themselves, either
interpersonally or
professionally.
Rather than
contributing to
factors that
maintain and
exacerbate struggle
in our world, Ellia
Communications seeks
to be part of the
solution, by helping
people connect more
deeply to themselves
and their own inner
guiding power, one
book or seminar at a
time, to find their
own authentic way.
This reconnection
fosters
breakthrough.
Challenges and
limitations become
more manageable, and
once we break
through, we’re
guided to a more
expansive,
fulfilling,
passionate, and
joyful way of
living.
What is coaching?
As the ICF (www.coachfederation.org)
explains, coaching
is a professional
service that
involves “partnering
with clients in a
thought-provoking
and creative process
that inspires them
to maximize their
personal and
professional
potential.
Professional coaches
provide an ongoing
partnership designed
to help clients
produce fulfilling
results in their
personal and
professional lives.
Coaches help people
improve their
performances and
enhance the quality
of their lives.
”Coaches are
trained to listen,
to observe and to
customize their
approach to
individual client
needs. They seek to
elicit solutions and
strategies from the
client; they believe
the client is
naturally creative
and resourceful. The
coach's job is to
provide support to
enhance the skills,
resources, and
creativity that the
client already has.“
What sets Ellia
Communications and
Kathy Caprino apart
from other programs
and providers?
Ellia
Communications
specializes in
providing services
and resources that
go beyond the
surface and help
individuals dig
deeper to explore,
and ultimately break
through the blocks
that hold them back
from living life
full-out,
purposefully and
consciously. Ms.
Caprino, through her
national research
with professional
women, her
high-level business
experience, her
coaching and
leadership training,
and her personal
experiences of
overcoming
professional and
personal
disempowerment,
knows directly what
reinvention entails,
and helps others
achieve positive
transformation and
empowerment in life
and work. Kathy has
developed a new
Model for Empowered
Living—complete with
three essential
steps for thriving
in life and work--
and uses this model
as a foundational
guide in all her
resources and
programs. She has
taken in her own
life each of the
coaching action
steps she teaches,
to great success.
What kind of
results can I expect
from coaching?
Given a
sufficient amount of
time and commitment
for the process and
relationship to gel,
coaching can produce
dramatic, positive
results in the
client’s life and
work. Generally,
within the first
several months,
positive change is
produced in the
client’s life, and a
new path for
redirection and
empowered action has
become clear.
The following are
just some of the
areas of development
that coaching can
produce:
You will:
Learn how to
navigate
successfully through
change
Address
challenges head on
Step up with
courage and
confidence to new
opportunities
Increase your
empowerment in life
and work
Gain important
advocacy
Take on new
directions that
excite and fulfill
you
Create a powerful
new life vision, and
realize it
Resolve
long-standing
dilemmas that once
held you back
Strengthen
interpersonal bonds,
and increase your
ability to connect
and communicate
positively
Gain new skills
and tools for
continued growth and
success
Claim a life
direction of
passion, power, and
purpose
In addition to
these areas, Kathy
coaches and supports
professional women
in finding new ways
to:
Honor and express
your various facets
Respect the work
you do, and earn
respect in turn
Receive fair
treatment at work
Expand your
self-reliance
Achieve “quality
of life,”
flexibility, or
control over what
you do and how you
do it
Balance your
numerous important
life roles
Make a
significant positive
difference in the
world and in the
lives of others
Utilize your
voices talents, and
abilities
And finally,
contribute fully in
ways that reflect
your unique needs
