EMPATHIC PARENTING:
FOSTERING
SELF-CONFIDENCE AND
SELF-RELIANCE IN OUR
CHILDREN
This interactive
seminar helps
parents of
school-aged children
explore the critical
ingredients
necessary to be an
effective and
supportive caregiver
who also facilitates
your child’s
fulfillment of
his/her own
potential with
self-confidence and
self-reliance.
Caprino explores
various parenting
styles and key
responsibilities,
and offer new ways
to assess your
child’s
developmental needs
in relation to your
style and approach.
Tools will be given
to understand the
“structure” of your
family, and
determine how this
structure may be
causing conflict or
difficulty. Caprino
then shares a
powerful parenting
and relational
approach called
Empathic Parenting
that fosters
self-reliance and
self-confidence in
your child and
entire family.
Problematic patterns
in family
communications, and
ways to break these
patterns, will also
be explored. In the
end, participants
will be given an
opportunity to
examine their own
beliefs about their
children’s
self-reliance as a
way to transform
current conflict
into opportunity for
growth and positive
change.
ENHANCING YOUR

SKILLS THROUGH
HEALTHY FAMILY
DYNAMICS
This workshop is
aimed at helping
parents of children

aspects of family

flexibility, to the
softer side of
authority, including
acceptance, empathy,

we will examine the
power of awareness
to transform
conflict into
opportunity for
growth.
